There are many ways that we can help out at home! From cleaning the dishes to reading to a sibling, the opportunities are endless!
At the bottom of this page you’ll find a KINDNESS CHALLENGE. Have your parents snap a picture and direct message it to @LeffingwellSchool or tag us using the same name! We might even REPOST your picture!
OUR COMMUNITY (March 9th – 13th)
We’ve partnered with Whittier’s Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter to collect some of their most needed items. They provide free emergency shelter and give away basic supplies to those who need them most.
ITEMS NEEDED: soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, chapstick, hand sanitizer, feminine products, diapers (all sizes), wipes, plastic utensils, napkins, toilet paper, disinfecting wipes & sprays
COLLECTION BUCKETS will be in your teacher’s classroom all week!
OUR WORLD (March 16th – 20th)
Did you know that not everyone in the world has access to clean, drinking water? We’re trying to change that by collecting coins to donate to Water for LIFE. DONATION JUGS will be on the stage all week. The HOUSE who fills up the most will earn EXTRA RECESS!
