2026-2027 TK & Kindergarten Information

Help spread the word to family and friends that online registration for TK & Kindergarten begins on Monday, January 26, 2026.  Enroll online using the link below.  If you don't live within the Leffingwell attendance boundaries then you will need to apply for a permit and have it approved in order to attend Leffingwell. 
 
Intra-District permits (live within East Whittier City School District boundaries) are accepted between January 26th - February 6th. 
 
Inter-District permits (live outside of EWCSD boundaries) are accepted between March 2nd - 13th.

  • Meet the Principal & School Tour - April 14, 2026 @ 9:00am
  • Family Fun Night - April 24, 2026 from 5:00-8:00pm
  • Kindergarten Preview Day - May 5, 2026 @ 2:30pm
  • Incoming Kindergarten Testing - May 14, 2026 from 1:45-4:00pm (Choose a 15-minute time slot in the office after completing enrollment)
  • Open House - May 19, 2026 from 6:00-7:00pm
  • Lunch @ Leffingwell - July 31, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm
  • Kinder Kickoff - August 4, 2026 from 9:00am-12:00pm for Incoming Students
  • Back to School Night - August 4, 2026 from 6:00-7:00pm for Parents
  • 1st Day of School in 2026-2027 - August 11, 2026
