Are You Ready for School?

Hi Leffingwell Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  I hope you have had a wonderful summer!  A couple reminders as we get ready for the first day of school next week:

  • Class placements will be available on PARENT PORTAL on August 6th at 4:00pm.  
  • Please remember to complete the data confirmation process in Aeries Parent Portal to make sure all your info is up-to-date. You can log in @
  • School starts on Tuesday, August 10th (Kindergarten @ 8:00am and 1st-5th grades @ 8:10am)
  • Kindergarten is released at 1:00pm the whole first week of school. They will eat snack and lunch at school.
  • The first day of school is a Tuesday early release day. 1st-5th grade students get out at 1:25pm.
  • Our NEW Leffingwell t-shirts will be available for sale on the first day of school in the Parent Reception Area in the front of the school.  They will also be available to order online.  The link will be emailed to families and posted on social media when available.
  • Masks must be worn indoors but are optional outdoors.
  • Breakfast is available at 7:40am each morning.
  • Gates open at 7:50am each morning.
  • Parents MAY walk students onto campus the first day of school ONLY. 
  • 1st-5th enter through the main front gate and go directly to the blacktop to line up.  1st-5th will also be released each day out the main front gate.
  • Kindergarten will enter through Citrustree gates and go directly to their classrooms.  Kindergarten will also be released each day from the same Citrustree gates.
