RED RIBBON WEEK is coming and we have lots of fun activities and dress up days planned. Red Ribbon Week is a week that reminds us to make good choices and listen to the adults in our lives that care about us. Here is the week's schedule of events:
- MONDAY - Wear RED - We will kick off Red Ribbon Week with La Serna cheerleaders joining us for the morning flag salute.
- TUESDAY - Wear HOUSE COLOR - The FUN RUN will be taking place. Parents are welcome to join us to cheer on their child during their running time. K-2nd will run at 8:30am and 3rd-5th at 9:30am.
- WEDNESDAY - Wear 50's Clothes - We will celebrate the 50th day of school with a 50's dress up day & Cook's Night Out at Ruby's Diner.
- THURSDAY - Wear Crazy Socks & Hair
- FRIDAY - Wear your Halloween Costume - Our Halloween Character Parade returns at 9:00am. Parents are welcome to join us during the parade as our students march through the halls and around the blacktop. Will Dr. Blackwell be turned into a human ice cream sundae at the end of the parade for meeting our Fun Run fundraiser goal...stay tuned!?!?!
