Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair is the last week of September 26th-30th.
If you're new to Leffingwell Elementary, you may not know that Scholastic gives us a generous amount of FREE books for hosting book fairs. Last year alone, we received $12,000 in FREE books that went straight into the classroom libraries… which in turn supports our A.R. program and encourages student reading success!
On Thursday, September 23rd, we receive all the books to set up our own Leffingwell Book Store. It's exciting to unpack the book boxes and set up the fair. If you'd like to help, meet in the cafeteria at 12:30. No retail experience necessary. J
We are running this fair concurrently with parent conferences. It is a week of minimum days. The fair will be open after school and to parents attending conferences until 3pm.
Also, on the evening of Thursday, September 28th, the fair will be open during the P.T.A. Pizza & Games event at school.
